What this page covers

This policy describes what makeupxchloewilson.com does with your information today, and how to ask me to delete it. It describes the site as it actually runs right now, not what is planned — when that changes, this page changes with it

What the inquiry form collects

When you send an inquiry I store your first and last name, Instagram handle, email, phone number, wedding date, venue, whether you’re getting ready at that venue and the address where you will be, and how many people need makeup. All of those are required. You can also describe the look you want and add anything else you think I should know — those two are optional

If you attach inspiration photos, I keep those too — up to three, stored privately in my own storage. They are not public, they are not shared, and nobody but me can open them. Your phone resizes them before they are sent, so what I receive is a smaller copy rather than the original file

I also store the browser you sent it from, and a scrambled one-way version of your network address — not the address itself, and not anything I can turn back into it. It exists only to stop the form being flooded with automated submissions

If you sign a contract

When you sign your contract on this site, I keep the signature you draw, the legal name you type, the fact that you ticked the box, and the date and time you did it. Alongside those I keep your full network address and which browser you used

That last part is deliberately different from the inquiry form, where I only keep a scrambled version I can’t undo. A signature is a record of who agreed to something, and a record that can’t identify anyone doesn’t do that job. It is kept for the contract and nothing else — not for analytics, not for marketing, and it is never handed on

I also save a copy of the exact document you signed, as it looked when you signed it, so neither of us is relying on memory later. Your signing link keeps working afterwards, so you can open your copy whenever you want

Who handles what you send

Three companies, and no one else. Cloudflare hosts this site and stores inquiries and any photos you attach, in my own account, and their Turnstile check is what confirms you’re a person rather than a script. Resend delivers the two emails an inquiry sends — the copy to me, and your confirmation. Instagram (Meta) supplies the photo feed on my home page, and if you message me there it’s handled under their policy rather than mine

I don’t sell what you send me, I don’t add you to a mailing list, and I don’t pass it to anyone outside what your booking actually needs

Email and Instagram

Email you send me arrives in my ordinary inbox, and Instagram messages stay inside Instagram, handled under Meta’s own privacy policy rather than mine. If you’d rather not use Instagram, email works just as well

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which serves the pages you request. Like any web host, their network sees the request itself; I don’t receive or keep any of it

Counting visits

When you open a page here, the site adds one to a count of how many times that page has been opened today. That is the whole record: a page name and a date. No address, no cookie, no identifier of any kind, and nothing that could be traced back to you or joined up with anything else

Cloudflare, who host the site, also measure overall traffic and page speed for me. Their measurement is cookie-free and does not follow you to other sites

How long I keep it

An inquiry that turns into a booking is kept for as long as I need it for the booking and my records afterwards. One that doesn’t, I keep only while there’s a reasonable chance we’re still talking — and you can ask me to delete it sooner at any point

Requesting deletion

To ask me to delete the information you’ve sent, email makeupbychloehall98@gmail.com and I’ll remove it, unless I’m required to keep a record of a completed booking for tax or contract purposes
